Urban Land Institute of Western New York’s 2012 Holiday Sweater Party 

C’mon, you know that you want to go out and buy an ugly sweater for a good cause. Or maybe you have one stashed away in your closet somewhere? If wearing an ugly sweater isn’t enough to get you excited about the Urban Land Institute of WNY’s upcoming holiday party, then maybe the venue for the party will get you fired up. It’s being held at the Mid-Day Club on the 21st floor of the Liberty Building. 

In the end, it’s the cause that matters the most – all proceeds raised from the holiday fundraiser go toward Groundwork Buffalo (Facebook), a non-profit that is in the business of working with community groups in order to convert vacant and underutilized land into productive community spaces (www.groundworkbuffalo.org).

*Tickets are $20 for members and $30 for non members and include an open bar (beer/wine only) and assorted hors d’oeuvres, provided by the Mid-Day Club. Activities include a 50/50 raffle and an ugly holiday sweater contest. Come casually dressed, or show off your favorite ugly holiday sweater for a chance to win!
